Applications.
CrN is used as a corrosion resistant coating and in metal forming and plastic forming applications. CRN is commonly used in medical implants and tools. CrN is also a valuable component in advanced multi-component coating systems, such as CrAlN, for hard, wear resistant applications on cutting tools.
