Ferro-boron Powder is a strong deoxidizer and boron additive in steelmaking production. The greatest function of boron in steel is to significantly improve the hardenability and replace a large number of alloy elements with only a very small amount of boron. In addition, it can also improve the mechanical properties, cold deformation properties, welding properties and high temperature properties.
Ferro-boron Powder is mainly used in steel and cast iron, alloy structural steel, spring steel, low alloy high strength steel, heat resistant steel, stainless steel, etc. Boron can improve toughness and wear resistance in cast iron. It is widely used in automobile, tractor, machine tool and other manufacturing. The product has high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity and low loose density. It is a synthetic superhard material with stable physical and chemical properties. Its hardness is second only to diamond.

Iron boron powder is a gray irregular metal powder, according to the carbon content, iron boron (boron content: 5-25%) can be divided into low carbon (C≤0.05% ~ 0.1%) and medium carbon (C≤2.5%) two kinds.
